Progress your training (Optional):
Achieve your Sports Diver qualification or complete Skill Development Courses (SDC’s) within your membership year by paying ONLY for your training packs!
Use of club equipment:
We aim to provide all equipment needed for certification at no extra cost (air fills for Open Water training not included). Trainees requiring a drysuit size not available from the club’s equipment must arrange for a rental at their own expense directly at the dive site. The current rental fees are: Capernwray Diving Centre: £40 per day, local dive site: £15 per day. The club can provide a list of available rental sizes from the local dive site upon request.
Once you’re qualified: You’re welcome to continue using our equipment (provided it’s not reserved for trainees) for a small maintenance fee of £1 per chargeable item for pool sessions and £2 per chargeable item for open water diving.
Chargeable items are: Cylinder, BCD, Regulators, Drysuit & Dive Computer.
