Wigan Scuba Divers had an exciting opportunity from 16 till 30 June 2024 to showcase our passion for diving at a two-week photographic exhibition in the heart of Wigan Town Centre, located in the Grand Arcade, right in front of the “Rebuild with Hope” (formerly Debenhams) building. The exhibition featured stunning underwater photographs that truly captured the beauty and thrill of scuba diving. It was fantastic to see so many visitors stop by, taking the time to admire our photos and learn more about our club.

We also used the exhibition as a chance to share information about how to become a diver with us or try an experience dive at the Wigan Life Centre pool on Friday evenings (19:30 – 21:00). On Saturday, June 22, we had a staffed display situated between the escalators and HSBC for the entire day. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet so many new faces, answer questions, and inspire more people to get involved in the world of scuba diving. It was a great success, and we look forward to future opportunities to connect with the community!
