Wigan Scuba Divers hosted a Buoyancy & Trim Workshop, in collaboration with several other diving clubs, including Southport SAC, Staffordshire Divers, Just4Fun Diving, Phoenix NW, Northern Union, and Burnley. The practical day of the BSAC Buoyancy & Trim Workshop took place at the renowned Capernwray diving venue, providing the perfect setting for refining essential diving skills.

The course was an instant hit, with 12 divers booking their spots within just 48 hours of the event being announced! The workshop focused on improving buoyancy control and trim, which are crucial skills for every diver. It was a great day of learning, with divers of all levels working together to perfect their techniques. By the end of the session, all participants had made noticeable improvements and achieved excellent buoyancy standards, showcasing how important these skills are for safety, comfort, and enjoying a more efficient dive. Everyone left feeling more confident in the water and with a stronger understanding of how to manage buoyancy and trim, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable diving experience moving forward.
